Linea Gialla

In 2009, "Linea Gialla" hosted in two different events, the first in April and the second in October, Antonio Salviani and Yari Miele.

Antonio Salviani, first guest, who in his research undertook several expressive media and reinterpreted their value in everyday use, to build a more present. The analysis of the dynamics of communication and social interaction in the metropolitan context are the starting points from which develops and takes shape his personal investigation. The artist, as a modern metropolitan flaneur, was looking for gestures. Gestures that are born in the continuous and incessant flow of souls in the apparent uniformity of urban society and deadpan monotone.

Installations, contemporary objects, paintings and audio-video performance in action are medium of transit between physical reality and virtual reality, by technology.
Painting, theme between artist and reality, percolates new values thank to the admixture of technological media, in this view, the artist becomes the engine, active means of visualization and analysis of human communication codes.
An exhibition that wanted to draw a line between the different forms of communication, without exception.

Yari Miele, however, presented site-specific installation created specifically for the impressive showroom Caprotti Light.

A painting made on a support of transparent plexiglass and supported by a large stand at the entrance of the exhibition space of Caprotti Light, for a contemporary work by the subtle and profound reflexive game.

By day, the structure appears as an indication of a presence that, in the dark, is revealed in all its brightness.

"On-Off", in fact, intended as a new mode of use of the work that gets double under the watchful eye of the viewer, called to look at, but also to experiment firsthand the techniques used. At the same time a visual, sensory and mental experience that has allowed us to discover the live side of the installation.
