Capalbio Cinema

Capalbio Cinema is an international showcase dedicated to the short film.
The Festival, directed by Tommaso Mottola Today, it is known to the world of cinema and communication for its mix of style and cultural quality, able to attract in the wonderful scenery of Capalbio decision-makers, communicators and politicians, along with many movie stars and trend-setters.

Within the Festival XXIII edition, titled "Man After Machine: the cyber age", were presented four meetings dedicated to innovative formats and technologies held by leading industry players.

The panel "Video Mapping", held by Marcello Arosio and Tommaso Arosio, tackled and analyzed the following theme

"In cinema the picture frame is intended as a rectangular window into another reality. Audiovisual Mapping expands that window beyond its traditional shape, projecting the moving image onto complex three-dimensional geometries, as are architectures, sculptures and objects, both indoor and outdoor. Can the third dimension of these unusual picture frames open to a new cinematographic expression? "
