Corona, a dynamic light installation, was developed for the first edition of CidneON - International Festival of Lights, hosted at Castello di Brescia.
The installation translates music into a composition of lights, a colorful choreography that, in the case of CidneON, interpreted the notes of "Un bel dì vedremo" from the opera Madama Butterfly by Puccini and an original piece of electronic music.
Corona is a digital transposition system, which turns each note into an input for the LED lights of the installation. A translation that gives life to an harmonic and engaging light language that breathes at music rhythm.
At CidneOn International Festival of Lights, the installation was dedicated to the memory of the soprano Daniela Dessì, that gives voice to the artwork. On the opening night, the installation accompanied the live performances of the soprano Marta Mari.
Corona, with its 10 meters in diameter and 16 LED bars, offered a new vision of the Outer Walls of the Castle, becoming lighthouse and attraction for the visitors.
Corona can be installed everywhere in different versions and sizes depending on the context and opportunity.
