In an reality increasingly toward homogenisation and the annulment of the distinctive features of the territories, Explor-Art had the objective to bring out the peculiarities of Monza and Brianza through a contemporary re-interpretation of our sites developed by artists and cultural workers from all over the world

In a time when the comparison with other cultures is the subject of daily discussions, Explor-Art offers to participants and citizens a contrast through art, not only with different realities, but also with themselves and their environment.

The goal of Explor-Art is to stimulate unpublished reflections on the multiple realities of our territory, turning the research methodology of some important international representative of contemporary art, an opportunity for young Italian talent and not, to cooperate constructively in development of a project.

Among the 52 artists from 14 different countries who are candidates, the International Committee has selected 16 artists who participated in the workshop and it was possible to know during a casual and engaging party, an event with international profile, including music, video projections architectural, images, art and mulled wine, all nestled in the scenic surroundings of Cascina Costa Alta.

In addition, during the exhibition EA10 Exhibition were presented the work developed by the artists during the week of workshops.
