Kernel Monza /022

Audiovisual 3D mapping shows, light and participatory installations, sound projects: from 23 September 2022 to 02 October 2022 the center of Monza comes alive with the Kernel Monza /022, an Italian Light Festival of international interest that attracts almost 67 thousand people to the city.
Interested are some of the most evocative locations of the city such as the Royal Palace of Monza and its Royal Groves, the central squares and the Nanni Valentini High School.

AUDIOVISUAL 3D MAPPING SHOW – Royal Palace of Monza
The symbolic building of Monza hosts short films of audiovisual 3D mapping, developed on the central and the two lateral parts of the building, which involves the public in an immersive dimension also thanks to an octophonic spatialized audio system.

STUDENTS IN LIGHT
Light installations - Nanni Valentini
The Liceo Artistico Nanni Valentini presents the multimedia projects developed by the students as part of a workshop led by AreaOdeon teachers and tutors. Unique opportunity for students to present their projects to the public and interact with artists.

MAGIC FOREST
Light and sound installation – Royal Groves
Installation of light synchronized to the soundscape listenable through the Sound Safari platform.

KIDS CUBE
Participatory installation – Arengario
A large "magic box" shows the self-portraits made by over 1000 primary and kindergarten children of Monza and Seregno.
